It is insanity when people like Meghan McCain, who appears to have food issues (but, hey, so does 90% of the US population), think that only consuming the dietary calories you need in one day is weird. WTF? Society has become so normalized to indulgence we cannot fathom just how few calories we need to survive. And, if we can get our caloric intake down to just what we need from high-quality sources, the quality of our lives will be vastly improved.
No Meghan… Gwyneth is not wrong or crazy, or odd for her self-health routine. She’s not batshit nuts about her desire to be healthy by eating healthy foods and only in amounts she needs. Does Gwyneth have some oddities? Yup. But hey… to each their own. Insofar as her diet and routine, you find so horrific; we should all take note and replicate; it’s hardly bizarre.
Let’s take a look at what pre-diabetic windbag had to say:
“So here, we go… a day in the life of Gwyneth Paltrow:
– She wakes up meditates and eats something that won’t ‘spike’ her blood sugar – like coffee, celery juice and lemon water.
– Then Gwyneth does an hour of ‘movement’ – either a walk, palates, or the notoriously rigorous Tracy Anderson workout.
– This is followed by dry brushing. (I had exactly zero idea what this was, as the only thing I have ever dry brushed is a horse, but apparently, it’s for skin exfoliation)
– Next comes a 30-minute infrared sauna session.
– Her first meal of the day is at noon, and it is green soup or bone broth ‘a lot of the days’.
– She eats an early dinner of ‘lots of vegetables,’ fish or ‘birds’ to fit into her ‘paleo’ diet. (She’ll sneak in a sweet potato or cassava.)
– Paltrow ends her day with a ‘nice intermittent fast,’ meaning she doesn’t eat again until noon the next day.
This sounds horrific.”
Wow, Meghan… the horror 😉 So, starting your day meditating, having something light to eat or drink, exercising, and caring for your skin is horrifying? Then, having a mid-day light meal and ending her feeding period with an early dinner of vegetables, poultry, or fish is somehow bizarre to Meghan? And, God forbid she tortures her body by not eating again until noon the next day? Heavens, will she live?
No, Meghan, you’re wrong. If the rest of us had a similar self-control routine, we would not be worrying about much of the health care issues in this country; we wouldn’t be tormented with the yoyo dieting or crash diets or self-hate for being fat f*ks.
Tormenting and destroying our bodies with constant feeding over 8, 10, 12, 14 hours or more, and worse… feeding our bodies corn syrup, processed food, refined flours, and toxic chemicals. Give your body a F*ing break from the shit you’re giving it, and for the love of Pete… give your body time to digest food and complete all the complex processes it needs before shoving and another processed burger or pizza, or “healthy” snack bar or sugary ass fruit into to it. You will be Ok eating well under 2000 calories per day. Your body will be Ok eating once per day or over a 4-hour window, and if you’re a fat f*k, try a 1200-calorie OMAD. Your physical and mental health will benefit from doing so.
Now, F*k Off, Meghan, eat another effing sugar-laden smoothie, eat your 3 square meals of oils, processed foods, and your daily wine, and keep lying to yourself about your healthy diet.

Benefits of IF and OMAD
Intermittent fasting and OMAD (One Meal a Day) are popular dietary approaches that have gained traction recently. Intermittent fasting involves alternating periods of eating and fasting, while OMAD consists in eating only one meal per day. Both systems have numerous health benefits, including weight loss, improved heart health, reduced inflammation, and enhanced cell repair processes.
Weight Loss: One of the most popular benefits of intermittent fasting is its ability to help people lose weight. Studies have shown that it can be an effective way to reduce calorie intake and burn fat. Additionally, intermittent fasting may help reduce hunger hormones like ghrelin, which can lead to decreased appetite and cravings.
Heart Health: Intermittent fasting has been linked to improved heart health by reducing levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It may also help improve blood pressure levels by reducing inflammation.
Cell Repair Processes: Intermittent fasting has been found to improve cell repair processes in the body, which can help protect against age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Additionally, it may help reduce oxidative stress on cells caused by free radicals.
Reduced Inflammation: Intermittent fasting has been linked to reduced inflammation in the body due to its ability to reduce inflammatory markers like C-reactive protein (CRP) levels. This can lead to improved overall health and well-being.
OMAD Benefits: OMAD offers many of the same benefits as intermittent fasting but with fewer restrictions on when you eat your meals each day. It can be a great way to simplify your diet while still getting all the benefits of intermittent fasting. Additionally, it may help reduce hunger hormones like ghrelin which can lead to decreased appetite and cravings throughout the day.
Both intermittent fasting and OMAD offer numerous health benefits that can help improve overall well-being and quality of life. They are effective ways to lose weight while improving heart health, reducing inflammation, and improving cell repair processes.
