Have you ever been scrolling through Facebook or Instagram and come across an ad proclaiming, “You don’t need keto, you don’t need paleo, you don’t need intense exercise, you don’t even need to fast or do a vegan diet, and you can still burn fat and get shredded”? I know I have, and every time I see it, I can’t help but wonder, what kind of magic trick is this?
Well, as it turns out, there is no magic trick. The advertised program, V-Shred, is just a combination of healthy eating and moderate exercise. And while this may not be as exciting as a promise of instant weight loss without effort, it is a more sustainable and realistic approach.
What I found interesting about V-Shred’s approach to healthy eating was that it didn’t eliminate any food groups but focused on the quality of food consumed. This includes oatmeal, fruit, nuts, and even bread, as long as it is not processed and contains added sugars.
But here’s the catch, only focusing on what you eat is insufficient. While it is true that around 80% of weight loss results come from diet, the remaining 20% is related to exercise. However, this percentage can vary greatly depending on an individual’s insulin resistance.
Insulin resistance affects around 70% of the population, and for those with it, simply reducing carbs may not be enough. This is where intermittent fasting (IF) comes in. Individuals with insulin resistance can see more significant weight loss results by combining a reduction in carbs with IF.
My experience with this topic involves a close friend who struggled with weight loss for years. She tried every diet under the sun, but nothing seemed to work. It wasn’t until she started practicing IF that she saw accurate, tangible results. She was able to shed pounds and maintain a healthy weight, all while still eating the foods she loved.
So, while the promise of instant weight loss without any effort may be tempting, it is essential to remember that sustainable and healthy weight loss takes time and effort. V-Shred’s approach may not be revolutionary, but it is a good reminder that healthy eating and moderate exercise are the keys to long-term success.
In conclusion, it is essential to remember that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to weight loss. However, by focusing on the quality of food being consumed, incorporating moderate exercise, and, for those with insulin resistance, practicing intermittent fasting, individuals can achieve sustainable and long-lasting weight loss results. So, the next time you see that “You don’t need keto, you don’t need paleo” ad, remember that the real magic is consistency and effort.

Summary of Description:
The V Shred program claims to help people burn fat and get shredded without doing keto, paleo, or exercise by cutting out added sugar and processed foods. However, this program is too good for most people to be genuine. Fat burning and weight loss are tied to insulin, and about 70% of the population has insulin resistance. Therefore, most people will need to at least do fasting to see results. The best way to get healthy and lose weight is to get on the Healthy Keto® diet, intermittent fasting, and exercise.

You’ve probably seen advertisements offering a program that can help you burn fat and get shredded without doing keto, paleo, or even exercise. This diet only requires you to cut out added sugar and processed foods.
But is this program too good to be true? The short answer: for most people, yes.
Fat burning and weight loss are about what and when you eat. It’s tied to insulin. If you lower your insulin, your body can stop storing fat and will start burning fat. The lower your carbohydrates, the more fat you’re going to burn.
It’s harder for some people to lose weight than others because they have insulin resistance. Some people can lose weight by only reducing their carbs because they don’t have insulin resistance. But this is rare.
About 70% of the population has insulin resistance. The two main things that increase insulin are carbs and frequent eating. The more insulin resistance you have, the more you have to reduce your carbs and do intermittent fasting.
The problem with the V Shred program is that it focuses on a tiny percentage of the population that can lose weight by reducing junk foods and processed sugar. Most people will need to at least do fasting to experience results.
Remembering that it’s not just about weight loss is also essential. It’s about getting healthy and looking good as you lose weight. I believe the best way to get healthy and lose weight is to get on the Healthy Keto® diet (lower your carbs and increase the quality of your food), do intermittent fasting, and exercise.
