Summary of Transcript:
The video discusses Lance’s longevity plan, sharing his strategies, interventions, and supplements. He emphasizes the importance of individualizing a longevity plan according to personal preferences and data. Lance collects data through testing and monitoring, particularly tracking blood pressure, glucose levels, and heart rate variability. He divides his plan into the Fundamentals – diet, supplements, exercise, and sleep – and Interventions, which are experimental strategies that may extend one’s lifespan. Lance emphasizes that Interventions require careful consideration, as little research has been done on the long-term effects of these strategies. Finally, he notes that his plan has evolved and is directed toward individuals who have resolved most of their fundamental longevity issues.

Revealing My Longevity Plan for March 2022
People ask me how I fight aging and maintain my health every day. I’m frequently asked about my diet, supplements, exercise routine, and other longevity strategies. I’ve created this video to share my longevity plan in response to these questions. I’ll review what I eat, how I eat, what exercises I do, what supplements I take, and what interventions I employ. Plus, I’ll touch on some exciting interventions that aren’t currently in my routine.
Testing, Monitoring, and Tracking
First on the list are testing, monitoring, and tracking. For optimal health and longevity, I believe tracking various health biomarkers is essential. In my other videos, I review these types of testing and biomarkers, including blood testing, brain performance, cardiovascular health, and skin monitoring. By regularly monitoring these aspects of my health, I can better stay on track with my goals.
The Longevity Plan Structure
It needs to have a solid structure to have a successful longevity plan. I believe there are three fundamental pillars to that structure: diet (what and how I eat), supplements, and exercise.
The Fundamentals: Diet
The first fundamental is diet. I believe that what we eat matters most when it comes to longevity. I’ve done a lot of research and experimentation regarding diet. I follow a low-carb, high-fat, moderate-protein diet based on whole, natural, and organic foods. I limit processed foods and incorporate healthy fats like olive oil, nuts, and seeds. Additionally, I use fasting to help my body repair and maintain itself.
The Fundamentals: Supplements
The second fundamental is supplements. High-quality supplements play an essential role in supporting optimal health and longevity. In my routine, I focus on supplements that help brain and cardiovascular health, including NAD, NMN, Resveratrol, and other anti-inflammatory supplements. I also believe in customizing my supplement regimen based on my unique needs and circumstances.
The Fundamentals: Exercise
The third fundamental is exercise. Exercise should be enjoyable, sustainable, and suited to your unique needs. I prefer strength and high-intensity interval training to achieve optimal results. I also regularly incorporate yoga sessions and outdoor activities, like hiking and rock climbing, to keep things interesting.
Interventions
Finally, I want to share some interventions I am considering adding to my longevity plan. These may or may not be helpful for everyone, but I find them interesting and worth considering.
Senolytics & Senescent Cells
The first intervention is senolytics and senescent cells. Senescent cells accumulate over time, contributing to inflammation, aging, and disease. Senolytics are compounds that can help eliminate these cells from the body, promoting healthier aging.
Sitruins & NAD+
Another intervention that interests me is Sirtuins and NAD+. Sirtuins are enzymes that play a role in regulating NAD+ levels. NAD+ is a coenzyme that affects many physiological functions in the body, including DNA repair, cellular energy production, and disease prevention.
AMPK & mTOR Pathways
I’m also interested in the AMPK & mTOR pathways. Research shows that activating the AMPK pathway can improve metabolic function, prevent chronic disease, and increase lifespan. On the other hand, suppressing the mTOR pathway can have similar benefits.
Spermidine
Spermidine is another intervention that interests me. In various dietary sources, spermidine is believed to help regulate autophagy. Autophagy is the process by which cells remove damaged or unwanted materials, such as dysfunctional organelles or protein aggregates.
Rapamycin
Finally, rapamycin, an antibiotic used to suppress the immune system, is also being studied for its possible longevity-promoting effects. Researchers are still investigating the drug’s side effects, but some preliminary data suggests it may increase lifespan.
In Conclusion
In conclusion, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to longevity or anti-aging. It’s about identifying what works best for your body and creating a customized plan. I hope this video has inspired you to try new things and explore different strategies to promote your health and longevity. Remember, it’s never too late to start working toward a healthier and longer life.
