Prevent Colorectal Cancer: 6 Tips

*****
Summary of Transcript:
The speaker recommends ways to prevent colon cancer, including consuming foods high in conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), found in grass-fed red meat and dairy, and fermented vegetables and dairy. Probiotics, fasting, and consuming fiber from vegetables, particularly low starch leafy greens, are also important. Vegetables have anti-cancer properties on their own, but fermenting them creates prebiotics that feed probiotics in the gut, which produce short chain fatty acids that inhibit cancer growth. Sharing success stories on the speaker’s website can inspire others.

Introduction: The Importance of Colorectal Cancer Prevention
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, and it can be devastating for those who are diagnosed with it. However, there are steps that you can take to help prevent colorectal cancer or prevent it from coming back. In this article, we will discuss six of the most important colorectal cancer prevention tips that you can implement into your daily routine.

Tip 1: Consume Foods High in CLA
Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a natural fatty acid that has anti-tumor properties. Grass-fed red meat and grass-fed dairy are both high in CLA, and they can help to prevent the growth of cancer cells.

Tip 2: Consume Fermented Vegetables and Dairy
Fermented vegetables and dairy have been shown to have significant anti-cancer properties in animal studies. Foods such as kefir, kimchi, cucumbers (pickles), cabbage (sauerkraut), and olives can be consumed on a regular basis with each meal.

Tip 3: Take Probiotics
Probiotics have been found to have an effect on cancer cells that causes them to commit suicide. Regular consumption of probiotics is an important step in preventing colorectal cancer.

Tip 4: Do Fasting
Fasting is one of the most important things on this list. It has a direct inhibitory effect on colorectal cancer, and it gives the GI tract a chance to reset. It also causes the natural probiotic microorganisms in your gut to increase in diversity, becoming stronger to fight infection. It is important to note that 70-80% of your immune system is in your gut.

Tip 5: Get Plenty of Fiber
Fiber can directly inhibit the growth of colon cancer by producing short-chain fatty acids (SCFA). It is important to get your fiber from low-starch leafy greens and other vegetables instead of grains or from a powder.

Tip 6: Consume Vegetables
Vegetables have strong anti-cancer effects because they contain phytonutrients. Regular consumption of vegetables can significantly decrease the risk of colon cancer.

Conclusion: Share Your Success Story!
By implementing these colorectal cancer prevention tips, you can lower your risk of developing this devastating disease. It is important to remember that these tips cannot guarantee that you will never develop colorectal cancer, but they can significantly reduce your risk. If you have successfully prevented colorectal cancer or have successfully prevented it from coming back, share your success story and inspire others to do the same.

In this video, we’re going to talk about colon cancer (colorectal cancer) and what I would do to help prevent colon cancer or prevent it from coming back.

Colon cancer prevention tips:
1. Consume foods that are high in CLA (conjugated linoleic acid).
CLA is the only natural fatty acid that the National Academy of Sciences accepts for having consistent anti-tumor properties.
CLA is high in certain foods, such as:
• Grass-fed red meat
• Grass-fed dairy

2. Consume fermented vegetables and fermented dairy
Fermented vegetables and dairy have shown significant anti-cancer properties in animal studies. You may want to consume fermented vegetables on a regular basis with each meal.
Fermented foods to consume:
• Kefir
• Kimchi
• Cucumbers (pickles)
• Cabbage (sauerkraut)
• Olives

3. Take probiotics
Probiotics have an effect on cancer cells that is called apoptosis. Basically, they cause cancer cells to commit suicide. Probiotics are very important to take regularly.

4. Do fasting
Fasting is probably the most important thing on this list. Fasting has a direct inhibitory effect on colorectal cancer. Fasting also gives the GI tract a chance to reset. It also causes the natural probiotic microorganisms in your gut to increase in diversity. They thrive and become stronger. It’s important to note that 70-80% of your immune system is in your gut.

5. Get plenty of fiber
Fiber turns into SCFA, which can directly inhibit the growth of colon cancer. But, don’t get your fiber from grains or from a powder. Get your fiber from vegetables instead, such as low-starch leafy greens.

6. Consume vegetables
Vegetables have strong anti-cancer effects because they contain phytonutrients. Vegetables can significantly decrease the risk of colon cancer.
