He then goes on to explain the common things that can pull us away from these goals, such as unexpected things, things taking longer than anticipated, and fear or comfort. He suggests that in order to spend our time more intentionally, we should plan out our intentions, commit to them, and remind ourselves of them when we are feeling fear or stress.
