Drug use from 16 to 25: Everyday #shorts

Listen up, people! Today, we’re talking about the mother of all concepts: time!

Let me start by saying that time is a tricky son of a gun. It’s constantly ticking away, and before you know it, you’re old and grey, wondering where all the damn years went.

But let me tell you something else about time: it’s a goddamn force to be reckoned with. Yeah, that’s right. Time can be your best friend or your worst enemy, depending on how you use it.

Case in point: when I was between 16 and 25 years old, I was using drugs every single day. Yeah, you heard that right. EVERY SINGLE DAY. And to top it off, my twin brother was right there with me, making sure we were both equally messed up.

You may be thinking, “Damn, this guy’s life must have been one big party!” But let me tell you something: it was not a party. It was a goddamn nightmare. I lost my older brother when I was 20, and my dad was gone too. So when it came to male role models, I was SOL.

And let me tell you, that’s a slippery slope. When you don’t have anyone to look up to, it’s easy to fall in with the wrong crowd. And that’s precisely what happened. I was waiting for someone, anyone, to come along and give me some guidance. But nobody showed up, and I just kept spiraling downwards.

But you know what? I’m not here to talk about my sob story. Because the truth is, I turned my life around. And that’s because I realized something crucial: I had to take control of my time.

That’s right, people. Time is the most precious asset we have. And if we don’t use it wisely, we’re screwed. So I did something about it. I went to treatment and got the hell out of the toxic environment I was in. And yeah, it wasn’t easy. But let me tell you, it was damn worth it.

See, the thing about time is that you can’t get it back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. And yeah, that can be scary as hell. But it can also be empowering. Because if you use your time wisely, you can accomplish some seriously badass things.

And I know what you’re thinking: “But wait, Mr. Motivational Speaker, what if I’m not sure how to use my time wisely?”

Well, my friend, that’s why you’re here. Because let me tell you, there are a million and one ways to use your time wisely. Maybe it’s pursuing a passion project. Perhaps it’s spending time with loved ones. Maybe it’s doing something that scares the living hell out of you.

The point is, whatever you do with your time, make it count. Because that’s all, we’ve got at the end of the day. So please don’t waste it on drugs, evil influences, or anything else that will drag you down.

I know it’s easier said than done. Trust me; I’ve been there. But let me tell you, once you start taking control of your time, the possibilities are endless. So go forth, my friends, and own your goddamn time because time waits for no one.
